  • You can also add some brown rice if you feel the soup is not filling and you find yourself hungry still throughout the day.
  • You can also add additional herbs and spices such as cilantro, bay leaves, red pepper flakes, or Italian seasoning to your soup.
  • If you don't like beef you can substitute for chicken (without the skin), fish, or any vegan meat alternative.
  • Vegans/Vegetarians can also use the diet but must substitute the meat for a meat alternative.
  • You can substitute skim milk for any plant-based milk.
  • It is best to purchase fresh produce if you must buy canned make sure it is stored in their natural juices or water, not syrup.
