Harry And Meghan Expected To Attend King Charles Coronation

Harry and Meghan are expected to attend the Coronation of King Charles III.

Invitations to the coronation event are expected to be sent out shortly, at which point the ball will be in Harry and Meghan's court as they decide whether or not to attend, the Daily Mail reports.

The Mirror disclosed that a source close to the family said that despite some royals had been "spitting feathers" about some of the allegations leveled by Prince Harry in his memoir, they are still expecting the Sussexes to travel over for the occasion in May.

The day of the coronation, May 6, coincides with the birthday of Harry and Meghan's son Archie, who is due to turn 4 years.

Government officials are reportedly drawing up contingency plans in case Harry decides to attend the ceremony on his own.

If the couple attends the Coronation, it is understood that they will not form an official part of the ceremony. They will also not be invited to join the rest of the family on the balcony at Buckingham Palace.

Palace officials are reportedly working hard to finalise the guest list. With only 2,000 seats available, Members of Parliament and the House of Lords will be invited to enter a ballot to see who will be issued a ticket.
