There is a high expectation for all the children across the globe to be able to go to school and receive some level of education. While this outcry is great and should be held and applauded. The final result of education is the focus of this post. With more youths graduating from various institutions of learning, there is also a rising problem with unemployment. Is the unemployment problem caused by the kind of education received in schools? Well, that might be a debate for another day. Some of the things that may be missing from in my opinion are that most students fail to really understand that fundamentally schools are meant to teach them how to learn. What do they need to learn in school? It obviously how to solve problems especially real-life problems. The second thing that I think every school should drive into their students is the skill of knowing how to earn a decent living. I believe this is where many problems related to unemployment will be drastically addressed. |
